On Tuesday, October 31st we will be holding our 18th annual Halloween parade in the Chantilly Neighborhood thanks to Maddie and Ruth Healy and the Chantilly Neighborhood Association. Neighbors and nearby friends are encouraged to come dressed up in Halloween costumes and participate in a family friendly march down Shenandoah Ave to collect candy and experience a festive start to a night full of trick or treating.

We will begin the lineup for the parade at 2441 Shenandoah Ave at 4:30PM and will conclude the parade outside of Chantilly Hall where the Chantilly Neighborhood Association will be serving up pizza and refreshments to those who are interested (sign up sheet attached). Neighbors are encouraged to hand out candy to the young trick or treaters as they pass by between the 2400 and 2100 blocks of Shenandoah.

Who is Maddie Healy?  Come meet her! This is a wonderful neighborhood tradition that has organically grown since Maddie was a young girl – with an energetic mother, Ruth -that celebrates the great spirit of the neighborhood and is great fun for kids of all ages.

Please click on the attachment for instructions to make your reservations for pizza – please email Ashley Abelson at social@iChantilly.org if you are willing to help volunteer to setup or takedown.  See you Tuesday, October 31!
