This year the members voted and decided to offer membership to the Chantilly Neighborhood Association for only $15/household, $10/senior household. We hope you will find this new amount more affordable and will join us as we work to get to know our neighbors and improve our great neighborhood. CNA goes to the Charlotte Checkers

Join the Chantilly Neighborhood Association for a night of minor league hockey fun as the Charlotte Checkers take on the Oklahoma City Barons on Saturday, February 25 at 7:00pm at the Time Warner Cable Arena. Tickets are only $10 this year as we are sitting in a lower priced section that promises a better view of the ice at a lower price point. Fliers are being delivered door-to-door now so return the bottom portion along with your cash or check payable to Sarah Richardson to 2225 Bay Street, or print out the flier in the link below. Ticket money must be received by February 16 in order to sit with the group and receive the group discount. If you have any questions please email sarahkrichardson@yahoo.com or call 704.335.1019.

Further details about these events will be updated as the time grows near, and as always fliers will be distributed throughout the neighborhood. We are looking forward to seeing everyone out and about in 2012.

Halloween Parade

Join the Chantilly Neighborhood Association for Maddie Healy’s 12th Annual Halloween Parade on Monday, October 31. Parade lineup starts at 4pm at 2441 Shenandoah Avenue with the actual start time closer to 4:15/4:30. We will march up Shenandoah Avenue and end in front of Chantilly Hall located at 2101 Shenandoah Avenue. Please make plans to gather for a pizza party there immediately following the parade festivities. Pizza costs are $5 per single parent family or $10 per family. Please note there are no bathroom facilities available along the parade route or at the Chantilly Hall. RSVP and pre-pay for pizza by Thursday, October 27th in cash or check payable to Sarah Richardson at 2225 Bay Street, 704 335-1019 or sarahkrichardson@yahoo.com.

Join the Chantilly Neighborhood Association for a picnic at the Chantilly Neighborhood Park on Saturday, October 22 at 11am. We will provide dessert and ask that you bring a picnic lunch and blanket to sit on while we get to know our neighbors. We are trying an earlier start time this year in hopes of allowing some of the younger children a chance to play before they have to go home and take a nap.
