5th Annual Spring Fling is this Saturday!

The 5th Annual Spring Fling is this Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm, rain or shine, at the Chantilly Neighborhood Park. The weather looks wonderful and we hope to see many of our neighbors there.

This year we are proudly serving Pulled Pork barbecued by neighbor Craig George, Mac’s Speed Shop Coleslaw, Macaroni and Cheese, Baked Beans, Lemonade and Bottled Water from 5pm until we run out.

We have reserved a bouncy house thanks to our platinum sponsors, Sub Station II and Timberline Homes. The Morristowne Brass Ensemble will be returning again to entertain us while we dine.

There will also be water balloons to throw around so if your little one is inclined to play consider bringing an extra pair of clothes.

Please provide a side, salad, or dessert to share with at least 6 people. Email sarahkrichardson@yahoo.com with the names/ages of children attending, address and item you plan to share. We ask that you bring your own soft drinks/beverages and blanket or chair to sit on while we get to know our neighbors. Please remember no glass is allowed in the park.

We are seeking sponsors for the 5th Annual Spring Fling on May 19, 2012 from 4 to 8pm at the Chantilly Neighborhood Park. We can offer advertising space in the flier that gets hand-delivered to the 650+ homes in the neighborhood, multiple mentions of your business name in the emails that go out to the listserve, link to your company webpage from here, allow you to hang a banner at the

event or if you have a product or service you are interested in demonstrating this can be done at the park as well. If you are interested in getting your name known in the neighborhood please Sarah Richardson immediately to discuss sponsorship levels.

Join the Chantilly Neighborhood Association for our March meeting tonight at 7:15 pm at the Chantilly Hall, located at 2101 Shenandoah Avenue. Dues can be paid tonight for the 2012 year and they have been reduced to only $15. Dues can also be paid online using PayPal under the membership tab or here.

Further details about these events will be updated as the time grows near, and as always fliers will be distributed throughout the neighborhood. We are looking forward to seeing everyone out and about in 2012.

Charlotte Checkers game with CNA

Join the Chantilly Neighborhood Association for a night of minor league hockey fun as the Charlotte Checkers take on the Oklahoma City Barons on Saturday, February 25 at 7:00pm at the Time Warner Cable Arena. Tickets are only $10 this year as we are sitting in a lower priced section that promises a better view of the ice at a lower price point. Fliers are being delivered door-to-door now so return the bottom portion along with your cash or check payable to Sarah Richardson to 2225 Bay Street, or print out the flier in the link below.
